Local Courthouse Addresses In Queens, Ny
final episode in this he was quite unusual and in fact this should be. Other than the usual time of the issue - just in this case, independent of the redactor Victor - on the one hand affected the turnout Your forum, on the other hand was more symbolic because of the fact that the broadcast was over on the last day of the year. Unusual, because the rock rather than blues or even okołobluesowy repertoire of the first hour, he was most conscious choice redactor, and the desire to draw attention to an important nuance in our perception of reality. Presented pastiches of classic rock show clearly that not everything is illuminated, flashing, shining, irritates the eyes and an angry color in the end is loud, rozwrzeszczane or doing a lot of confusion around him, must have a value that sets it so. majority. So to put it more directly - sometimes more pay our attention to the fact that the trash does not cover the what we value and let us not deceive ourselves that that must be, otherwise you can not. I wish that all should be, especially at the beginning of the New Year. If even for a moment we consider the constructive and we draw conclusions, it soon turns out that many things you can do better and honestly, and the satisfaction which will flow from that will be directly proportional to improve the aesthetics of our perception.

remaining doubts as to why exactly George Thorogood was elected to the New Year's Eve concert part, should dispel the prosaic fact that this was the day the artist is celebrating her birthday (see "CALENDAR"). Therefore, the Venerable byrding - that has always remained in this form:

Broadcast opened and filled almost the entire first hour of Buddy Guy - one of the most important blues artists from Chicago and one of the most important living bluesmen. Became a legend during his lifetime and how you hear is not slowing down, still recording great albums, as exemplified by the Blues Attack presented in his latest album "Living Proof." Buddy still enchants with its deep soulowym voice and instrumental mastery blush even more than one master six strings, not only in age but also his son and grandson:) Let us recall as presented by almost half a century ago, accompanying Big Mama Thornton. It is also worth attention to the whole squad, which was accompanied by Willie Mae, and recognize the same major names: pianist Eddie Boyd and the famous Chicago rhythm section, and Jimmie Lee Robinson Fred Below.
And this is the Buddha of the King AD 2010 during sessions for the album "Living Proof." Both gentlemen, despite age still having fun:)
Another veteran was presented Magic Slim. Although it might not be so popular and vibrant as Buddy Guy is a significant contribution in Chicago blues. It belongs to the same generation as bluesman Buddy and still maintain good form. Gentlemen would have kept such a form as long as possible because I belong to the few still active musically by artists who contributed to the flourishing of electric blues.
Although episode was mostly kept in a climate of Chicago blues, do not run in the solid corners. The strongest - shredderowskim played Ron "Bumblefoot" Thal - American musician and record producer experimenter, who recently performs with Guns N 'Roses, and as it turns out below, he is no stranger to our national composer:)
Corner archaeological - recently found in traces due to the timing of programs - but it contained a nearly ten-minute video (the number passed in the quality:)) Clark Hutchinson, a British team. For those who first met with this name to clarify that no it means a name, only the names of two founding members: Andy Clark - vocals, keyboards, and guitarist Mick Hutchinson, who in 1967 designated it to life. Band has recorded a total of four LPs, the most interesting from the point of view, Blues Attack was the first one, entitled "Blues" from 1968, of which we have heard only recordings. Clark Hutchinson is one of the most important bands on the British underground scene of the late 60's and 70's of last century, though at the time underestimated, and even one might say that disregarded.
therefore, that so It was not much in the broadcast, yet listen to a song from the album "Blues."
was also an interesting part of the concert, which this time was presented an artist from Denmark. Sure it surprised some but the Danes also play blues and it proved a certain Thorbjorn Risager go to them it was not worse than American stars.
39-year old is a graduate of Thorbjorn Risager Rhythmic Conservatory in Copenhagen, which before took up playing the blues, he worked as a teacher. But the love of the blues sound learned in childhood still prevailed and in 2003 created the band Risager, in principle, big band, because its composition is in the numbers from 7 up to 10 musicians. Thorbjorn biggest inspirations are BB King and Ray Charles, what's the band's music, which is difficult to assign to one specific genre, because it represents a unique combination of blues, soul, jazz and even funk and rock. Particular attention will certainly distinctive voice and style leader phrasing of wind instruments. The only thing that might hurt a little, the guitar in a rock style songs, kept in a climate of plastic pop stars from Scandinavia. However, Only when the team takes the blues in nature, you can really admire what they have to offer. Besides, let's see and hear:
If someone liked the blues proposed by Thorbjorn Risager should look around for his discography, which has five publications, including two live . Last, entitled "Track Record" was released in June this year.
redactor show ended hammondzisty Brazilian song named Ari Borger. You may have a chance to showcase more of his music in the Blues Attack, because it is what you hear.
Finally, once the master Buddy Guy and already cult song "Skin Deep"

Robert Johnson is the name of a cult. He heard it, anyone who has even the slightest interest in the blues, and for most is synonymous with genius nadziemskiego instrumental (and not just at a time when he lived), the true life blues and - most importantly - extrasensory nature of the music he produced and biography marked by elements esoteric, or even mystical. It all paints a picture of an exceptional character, which is probably the largest and most intriguing in the history of the blues legend. Introduction
this, though not very revealing and it would seem that it and not need it, is a kind of attempt to become aware of how great a burden is faced artist, who wears the exact same name as the aforementioned legend. On the one hand, this name should assist in the promotion of his own people, on the other hand can be a burden in the form of constant comparisons and references which, in the face of the legend will always place the following in an unfavorable position.
It turns out that there is such a musician - one of the heroes of this episode, was born in Forth Worth, Texas Robert Johnson. Released in June this year, yet the album "Robert Johnson's Soul" is his debut phonograph, So it is not surprising that in our country hardly anyone had heard of him, if at all heard. You can also venture to say that Robert Johnson had the Blues Attack its nationwide premiere. And as presented in terms of art? Songs which we had the pleasure to listen to proven that Robert did not bring shame the name, although in this case, any comparison to the master of the Mississippi do not have even the slightest sense for several reasons. First and foremost icons such as Robert Leroy Johnson is niezestawialne with anyone and that's enough to close the topic. When next there is an age, location, genre, style, means of expression, etc.. Without going into further considerations and comparative inquiry into "what if" better to return a few lines up and focus on what has to offer Johnson's debut album and is it worth it to have on your shelf. Already the first notes of the first track showed that we are dealing with a considerable burden on the species under the banner of "rockin 'Texas blues, blues, although this fact was not enough, but it is not under any circumstances allegation. What's more, points out some indecision. Robert yet the end does not know whether to focus only on rock "carving" in texańskim style, or maybe smuggle blues accents, which also leaves him very well, as evidenced by let it be the song "The Weight of Lies." Due to the fact that this is a debut album should forgive him any "dilemma" nature of style, which hopefully will be dispelled on the next album, the more so when it comes to instrumental plane we are dealing with a very talented guitarist. Johnson perfectly mastered drawing workshop (which can be heard very well) not only on such texańskich champions such as Johnny Winter, Billy Gibbons, SRV, Eric Johnson, or even the Freddie King, but also can be sensed in his playing style elements of Ted Nugent. The specific nature of the compositions of Robert gives "rough" sounding 1985 Gibson Les Paul acquired Melody Shop in Dallas, which is his primary instrument (still uses Gibson Flying V, see back cover).
When purchasing this guitar advised him sadly died last year, his father Harold Ray Johnson, and that his son was dedicated this album. If someone likes texańskiego blues-rock, not revealing America, but played by a decent level is "Robert Johnson's Soul" probably interested him, and those who still have any doubt you should wait for his next release and maybe then will find this to buy two discs at once, or give yourself this artist are not exposing themselves to unnecessary deficit in the portfolio:) Let's see how yet Robert Johnson's Soul presents live (although the materials quality is not overthrow but due to the still low popularity of that music, there is not much choice):)
Texański topic continued to the second hour of broadcast, which seized the whole artist of considerable achievements and recognition of Joe Mug, and more specifically his Smokin 'Joe Kubek Band. Probably many met with the homely name and knows that it ensures that a large dose of texańskiego decent sound. In the broadcast we heard recordings from their latest album "Have Blues Will Travel" and a sizeable portion of the concert releases "My Heart's In Texas." Smokin Joe Kubek Band was formed in Texas around 1990. His forms the backbone since the beginning of the already mentioned, was born in Pennsylvania, Joe Kubek and guitarist from Louisiana singer and guitarist Bnois King. Although none of the gentlemen is not a native of Texas, it was settled there and there and make play your music. Joe Kubek since the beginning of his career, he was fascinated by the work of Jimi Hendrix, Johnny Winter, and above all, Freddie King, whose team had a chance to play. Bnois King and drew its inspiration from jazz. This combination of two distinct guitar styles with a strong voice reminiscent of King's repertoire in the best traditions texańskiego blues-rock for years impressing audiences around the world. The band released a total of 14 albums and in fact each is worthy of attention. It is also worth noting that their first album "Steppin 'Out Texas Style" of 1991 contained the same covers of classic blues.
And that title track from their new album played live:
must admit that it has a concrete trench:)
So a little more Smokin 'Joe Kubek Band:)
because I still freshly made in December of that year, the extraordinary beauty of "Wishful Thinking"
Texańskiego break from the sound of corner shredderów decided to pay us, which debuted from Richmond Virginia Bill Leverty guitarist best known for his firehouse team, representing a more American rock of the 80s of the twentieth century than the typical shredding.
did not come without outake course, this. This time did not fit the presentation of blues-rock guitarist Ian Moore, who also works in Texas. You may have a chance to return to the artist, the more that this year released his new album, signed as Ian Moore And The Lossy Coils "El Sonido Nuevo", the contents of which it is necessary to verify through the prism of the earlier publications by Ian:)
I got a message on the blog: From the nearest

quite a long time we had to wait until the redactor reach the ledge with the boards by Mike Onesko but patience paid off and we could double the pleasure to listen to the artist, who in the Polish ether reviews about as often as accurate weather forecast given by the Synoptics. Therefore, it is worth, and even be at this unconventional musician adequate notice and a few sentences of biography, because not everyone probably heard about him. Indeed, the U.S. no longer young guitarist and singer in our country is little known, if at all anyone heard about him, it's basically only in the context of his current band Blindside Blues Band. But few probably know that Mike for almost 40 years of his musical career had a lot of your own projects and played with dozens of more or less known artists.
"Rock Machine" - such as it set out - his musical career began quite early, at age 17 left his family home in Fairview Park in Ohio, and with $ 60 in his pocket and a guitar he went to stop a dream of San Francisco. There he founded his first band - Sundog trio, whose music was modeled on the achievements of early Black Sabbath. The band existed from 1972 to 1974, in the meantime gave Onesko even as a guitarist in the group Sledge. Then, for less than a year he played guitar in a Diamond Fire to join the quartet of Main Drive, where the singer was a man named Walker Kaeck. With him was Onesko since 1976, created the hard rock quintet Steelwind and it was the first major band in which he played "Rock Machine. " Even performed at the famous Kezar Stadium in San Francisco, which is in the 70s of the last century arena such stars as, Led Zeppelin, Grateful Dead, Joan Baez, Neil Young. Steelwind existed until about 1982. Next year is grinding his guitar talent in the next less significant bands (No Questions, Hysteria, The Kwik, Three Man Army, Red Dirt Blues Band), created in 1991 by Mike Onesko Band, which performed regularly at clubs in California Marin County, and there I discovered him Mike Varney. In 1993 the group changed its name to Blindside Blues Band, and picked up, what happened: Mike Onesko - guitar / vocals, Scott Johnson - guitar, Greg Chaisson - bass and Jeff Martin - drums. Especially the two latter should be known for certain, even with the American hard rock band Badlands, and the drummer Jeff Martin also has at its ends such cooperation Paul Gilbert, Pat Travers onboard and Michael Schenker. The above-mentioned composition of the band recorded in 1993, Blues Bureau International effort his first album, simply entitled "Blindside Blues Band." The band's music formed part of the exact design of the publications that label, that is a blend was made virtuosity blues with a rock and hard rock. Extremely interesting compositions presented based on a strictly blues rhythms with two guitars in unison grającymi the same rock riff, which further enhanced the sound and was carrying with him an extra charge of energy. This convention has always been a trademark of Mike Onesko and its projects, and the album immediately was praised by critics and listeners. In the same composition of the BBB has recorded two more albums: "Blindsided" 1994 and "Messenger Of The Blues" in 1995. These publications have long since achieved cult status in the circles of fans of blues-rock guitar. In 1996 he released another album, this time under the name Mike Onesko's Blindside Blues Band - titled "To The Station". Although the team has changed dramatically, it is in terms of style and content of musical genres this album was the same as the previous ones. But there is no why, no wonder, because the recordings have provided a great value addition to the leader: Mike Varney - guitar, James Lomenzo - bass Aynsley Dunbar - drums and Parris Bertolucci - Keys. Mike Onesko Activities in the 90s of the twentieth century is not only a copyright release. It is worth mentioning that the "Rock Machine "took part in the recordings already mentioned repeatedly in the pages of this blog, publishing a cult LA Blues Authority. Subsequently, they were: "Cream Of The Crop", "Fit For A King" and "Hats Off To Stevie Ray." In addition, lent his voice on the album "Saturn Blues" by Tony Spinner. In 2001 the album was released as Mike signed Onesko's Guitar Army - "Armageddon." His record was attended, inter alia, Mike Varney and guitarist Bill Gressock. The CD contains recordings pure rock and hard rock, so fans of blues-rock music may not accrue to taste. Bluesfanom certainly should appeal to released in 2004 under the name Mike Onesko Blues Band - LP "Smokehouse Sessions. Onesko with the said Bill Gressockiem and bassist and drummer Kiere Staehelim Emerym Ceo served to some of the best performances of popular standards, blues hard rock style. Two years after this great album, Mike Onesko again returned to the name Blindside Blues Band, which was the fruit of the album "Long Hard Road." You can hear its sound even heavier and rather go into a more hard rock than blues-rock, which may be the result of the transition under the wings of Grooveyard Records. Just released is the 2008 album "Keepers Of The Flame", which immediately reveals the fascination with the works Led Zeppelin and Deep Purple. The year 2009 was exceptionally busy for Mike, because they had released two releases of its authorship. First under the name Onesko Bogert Ceo Project, entitled "Big Electric Cream Jam" contains excellent versions of songs the group Cream, which is another great fascination Mike Onesko. The tapes were recorded live, in the composition of which reveals the name of the project. Second release under the banner already Blindside Blues Band, and entitled "Smokehouse Sessions" is as if continuation of the 2004's album of the same title, with some themes are repeated.
beginning of this year brought another album Blindside Blues Band - "Raised On Rock". The title itself suggests that the blues on this album is not much, what is more, it is probably the strongest album of all previously issued under the aegis of the BBB. This does not mean that you have to avoid him a wide berth. On the contrary - as any publisher Mike Onesko provides a solid dose of rock music relating to the patterns from the 70s of the twentieth century. In addition, perfect execution and production, and interesting compositional plane make it really worth reaching for music Blindside Blues Band. Sam Mike Onesko is primarily rocker (as evidenced by even his nickname), but his creative identity is deeply rooted in the blues and that is what makes the model it certainly respected artists active in the blues-rock scene in the 60's and 70's - of the twentieth century (indeed he had already occurred), offers us what in this music the best. A means of expression which he uses (heavily distorted sound of Gibson Les Paul typical reverberant guitars sound a little reminiscent of Leslie West) add even more flavor and originality of his music, what, after all these days so we're all about. Therefore, if someone has not heard before about Mike Onesko and Blindside Blues Band, and enjoys a solid blues-rock playing, no doubt be interested in his discography. It is also worth mentioning that Mike "Rock Machine" Onesko can hear the last track popular Blues Attack thanks to Joe Colombo compilations "Voodoo Crossing: A Tribute to Jimi Hendrix" and "Gypsy Blood: A Tribute To Jimi Hendrix Vol.2 ". Onesko is not only a guitar and a great veteran singer and composer but also an excellent producer and producer of the recordings, which can be heard by inserting discs into the player, both Blindside Blues Band and other performers, including the aforementioned Leslie West. Those who work Onesko Mike is not a stranger, they should sharpen their teeth longer, because the artist looks at the end of the year two more releases: "Smokehouse Session Vol 2" and "Live-OBC Cream Jam 2." Thus, we look forward, and in the meantime let us see ourselves as Mike begins on the stage. The material is still fresh, so it gives complete idea about the current form Onesko which could therefore envied many a colt at the age of his grandson:)
As already mentioned at the beginning of a broadcast is not lost in a multitude of sounds and Mike Onesko through the concert has become part of the balance. I must admit that the redactor Victor showed up in this place special feeling, because calm frenzied guitar Onesko in such a way so as not to lull The listener to sleep is a real challenge. Here, fortunately, came up with a reliable means of maestro Jeff Beck and his amazing "Live at Ronnie Scott's." Master of age do not even think of musical retirement and, unlike most of his guitar peers, still has the form and content.
course after the presentation of this class of artists is always hungry for more so as a complement than a few songs that have not joined the program:
